The Story
The story of my journey making surfboard art begins with an auction.
For years, I’d been working with ArtReach (a nonprofit dedicated to providing children with art education), donating pieces for their annual silent auction.
One year, ArtReach gave each donating artist a used surfboard, asking that we transform the boards from landfill-bound trash to museum-worthy treasure.
Being a coastal artist, I was game for the challenge…
